Northwestern Physician Honored with Research Award

Dr Bruce Tan has been awarded an NIH K23 Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award to study “The Role of B-cell mediated Olfactory Loss in Chronic Sinusitis with Nasal Polyps” The NIH K23 award fosters the career development of physicians seeking to develop a career in clinical research and will study the effects of B-cell mediated inflammation on smell loss among patients with nasal polyps.
